Burning permits are now available by mail or email. You can call 1-888-WIS-BURN (947-2876) which is the same phone number to call for daily burning restrictions. You can talk to a customer service person to obtain a permit, which will be immediately emailed or mailed to you at your home address in a couple of business days. If you choose the mail option, the operator will give you an authorization number. This number will allow you to burn right away, without waiting for the permit to be delivered. If you choose the email option, you can print the permit as soon as you receive it.
