Town of Jackson
February 16, 2009
Kathy Swingle called the meeting to order at 6:45 P.M.
Present: Kathy Swingle, Craig Conroy, Nancy Growe, Dianne Connor
Absent: Tom Heenan
The review of local policies and recommendations.
1. Ok-all of them
2. Housing
#8-available public transportation is not likely for our town-not
appropriate
Senior citizens should be considered.
#9-“shall”should be applied for the Town of Jackson
We would want it this if multi-family issue came into being,
possibly in Voyager Village.
#10-c. change to “roads” rather than “Street”

e. does not apply to town
f. leave as in-generic
#11-“should” would be nice to recommend but how can it be enforced
#12-don’t disagree with concept but not sure we understand it-word
differently. Does this refer to development fees for
infrastructure?
#13-This is already being done.
#14-Leave as is.

#19-“private” on-site waste water treatment. (not publicly owned)
Private or shared community wells”
#20-existing private on-site sewage treatments systems. Why only
“urban” areas? should be conducted as required by code.

#22-Not applicable to town.

#24-Yes-required by State code & county ordinance.

#27-Not a town probability
#28-Conceptually good but needs re-wording to make more suitable to
towns who do not have the staff and only an active planning
